After Dil Chahta Hai, Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan to reunite for the Hindi remake of THIS hit Tamil film?

They were last seen as best friends on the silver screen. 18 years ago, Saif Ali Khan and Aamir Khan weaved magic on the big screen with Dil Chahta Hai. Cut to now, the Khans are apparently in talks for the Hindi remake of a popular and hit Tamil film. The movie in question is Vijay Sethupath and R Madhavan's Vikram Vedha. The original released in 2017 and it revolved around the story of Vikram, a police inspector who set outs to track down and kill Vedha, a gangster. After Vedha voluntarily surrenders himself, he tells Vikram three stories that change his perceptions of good and evil. Vikram Vedha, helmed by Pushkar Gayathri, was an out and out hit. And it is apparently being remade in Hindi.

Ramesh Bala, an Entertainment industry tracker, spilled the beans about the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha. He tweeted, "@aamir_khan to do the Hindi remake of #VikramVedha

Vikram Vedha Hindi remake will reportedly go on floors in April, 2020. The makers are planning to wrap up the film in just two-three months. "The film has been scheduled to go on the floors in April next year. Both Aamir, who kicks off Laal Singh Chaddha on 1 November, and Saif Ali Khan, who's Jawaani Jaaneman and Tandav are in the pipeline, are expected to finish their respective commitments by then. Considering the film doesn't require any specific preparation, the makers are planning to complete the shooting in two-three months. The recce for the film is likely to begin in January in Lucknow and Hyderabad," a source close to the development informed PeepingMoon.
