Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 BEATS War, Kabir Singh and Saaho at the box office - here's how

After holding well, in the pre-Diwali phase during its opening weekend, Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh's Housefull 4 witnesses a stupendous growth on its fourth day (Monday) at the box office. The rise in the collections was expected since it was a Diwali new year and audience go out for movies with friends and families. The early estimates suggest that it has earned around Rs 32 crore yesterday and with this figure it has emerged the highest Monday grosser of the year beating War, Kabir Singh, Saaho, Bharat and many others. Since today is a national holiday of Bhaidooj, we will again see good numbers at the box office.

The story of 'Housefull 4' is based on reincarnation, spanning a period of 600 years from 1419 to 2019. The Farhad Samji reincarnation comic caper also stars Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol, Rana Daggubati, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda, Chunky Panday and Johny Lever in key roles. It is produced under the banners of Fox Star Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Despite getting mixed reviews from the critics, the films has got a thumbs up from the audience, which can be seen through its collections. Our reviewer, Pankaj Sabnani gave the film 2 stars and wrote, "Housefull 4 had the potential to be a lot better, but with only a few good and funny moments, it turns out to be average at best.
