Arjun Kapoor in talks for a film with Rana Daggubati and Rakul Preet Singh? - read details

Last seen in India's Most Wanted, Arjun Kapoor has few projects lined up, including his next - Panipat. The actor features in Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama with Kriti Sanon. Panipat is a historical period drama, that recounts the events that led up to and unfolded during the third Battle of Panipat between the Maratha Empire and the Durrani Empire, in 1761. The film is scheduled to release on December 6. Meanwhile, according to a new report in Mumbai Mirror, the Kapoor lad has almost bagged a new project. Arjun is apparently approached for Ronni Screwvala film and the actor is currently in talks with the makers. The untitled film is slated to go on floors in the first half of 2020. It will be shot in Thailand. The plot of the film reportedly revolves around crocodiles.

"Arjun Kapoor is in talks with the makers. He has found the concept interesting. Besides him, there are two more important characters in the story for which Rana Daggubati and Rakul Preet Singh have been approached. The first stage of recce is already underway, and the film is expected to roll in the first half of 2020. A lot of training will be involved before the actors start shooting for the VFX-heavy film," a source close to the development informed the leading daily. If this happens for real, the Ronnie Screwvala movie will mark Arjun's first-ever collaboration with Rana Daggubati and Rakul Preet Singh. Coming back to his next- Panipat, the movie locks horns with Pati Patni Aur Woh featuring Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar. It will be interesting to see which film will take over the other and rule at the box office.
