BL Predicts: Housefull 4 to take a huge opening, Saand Ki Aankh and Made In China will depend on word of mouth

As expected, the pre-Diwali period turned out to be a dull phase as none of the films like Laal Kaptaan, Ghost and Maleficent: Evil of Mistress worked at the box office. But on the festive weekend, we are hoping for crackers at the ticket windows as not one or two, but three Hindi films are coming for our entertainment, which are Housefull 4, Made In China and Saand Ki Aankh.

To start with Housefull 4, the film has all the ingredients of being a commercial success, which include a big star like Akshay Kumar, a hit franchise, massy genre and more. The khiladi of Bollywood has enjoyed a phenomenal 2019 with Kesari and Mission Mangal and we are sure that the goodwill factor of these films, will boost the business of Housefull 4. By analyzing the buzz and hype around the film, we are predicting the reincarnation comedy to open in the range of Rs 22 crore to Rs 24 crore on its first day at the box office. We might see the escalation in business due to the increase in footfalls in the evening and night shows of the film. The biggest advantage to Housefull is that it caters to every target of the audience, which gives him the potential to have a wider release than its competitors.

Coming to Made In China and Saand Ki Aankh, both these ventures are primarily catered to multiplex audiences in the metro-cities. Though Made In China will still have an upper hand due to Rajkummar Rao's loyal fanbase and hit music. The comedy-drama should open between Rs 3 to Rs 4 crore and gather momentum post receiving favourable reviews from the cine-goers. Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar's biographical drama Saand Ki Aankh has already garnered positive reviews from the critics in the press shows but we really don't think it will help the film on its opening day. While we are expecting the film to open around Rs 2 crore, we might see a turnaround in the business once the audience starts giving positive feedback.
