The wait of Saif Ali Khan's fans is over as his latest film, Laal Kaptaan hits the screens today. The actor plays an obnoxious bounty hunter, Naga Sadhu in the film and his character seems very interesting. Speaking of interesting characters, Saif Ali Khan definitely deserves some extra points for the kind of work he's done in 26 years of his filmy career. From Casanova Vicky in Yeh Dillagi to zombie hunter Boris in Go Goa Gone, or intense characters like Langda Tyagi in Omkara to Sartaj Singh in Sacred Games, Saif Ali Khan has some really commendable characters to prove his versatility. If we make Saif Ali Khan's CV, Omkara would definitely appear on it. His portrayal of Langda Tyagi was excellent, to say the least. His role as the conniving villain in this Bollywood adaptation of Shakespeare's Othello won him a lot of praise.

His portrayal of Sartaj Singh, in the web series, was as intense as it gets and he played it wonderfully. He played a troubled Sikh cop, who is on a pursuit to save the city in 25 days. He was perhaps the first mainstream actor to deliver a hit show on the web platform. The series has been nominated in the drama category of International Emmy Awards.

Main Khiladi Tu Anari

Only 90s kids will remember this. Saif Ali Khan played top actor Deepak Kumar in Main Khiladi Tu Anari and was hilarious. His camaraderie with Akshay Kumar was one of the highlights of this masala film.

Go Goa Gone
