Shocking: This popular actress refuses to ever work with Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds as she feels she looks exactly like him

We've heard of doppelgangers and also of the scientific theory that replicas of each one of us exist in parallel dimension with the space-time continuum of the universe. However, this has got to be a first of sorts when well-known actress is convinced that her face is the perfect match of another well-known actor though none of us have ever noticed the resemblance to date.

Kate Beckinsale, who's best known for her roles in the Underworld franchise and Martin Scorsese's multiple Oscar winner, The Aviator, made a startling revelation recently on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, claiming that she's the doppelganger of Deadpool star, Ryan Reynolds.

"I look exactly like Ryan Reynolds. Like, in a shocking way." said Kate in a clip of the show published yesterday. "Sometimes, I see a bus going by with a poster, and I think, 'Damn, I look hot,' Oh wait, it's not me (realizing that it's a poster of Reynolds'). Also, I never did that movie. I've been at home.'"

Understandably, host Fallon expressed his skepticism, proceeding to compare two photos of the actors held side-by-side.

"Do you see it?" quizzed Beckinsale. "It's weird, right?" to which Fallon replied, "I don't really see it."

Adamant, Beckinsale confessed that she has not only been conscious of her resemblance to Reynolds, but will also never work with him on account of it.

"I mean, obviously he's not even, like, a slightly girly boy-bander-type. He's like a big Canadian man, and I really see myself in him. I can't be in the same room as him because one of would, I think, explode. Something would happen."
