War box office: Hrithik Roshan- Tiger Shroff starrer inches closer to Rs 300 crore mark

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's War had made countless records at the box office. Within just two weeks of its release, the Siddharth Anand directorial entered the 400 crore club at the global box office. The film is just unstoppable and it continues to enjoy a phenomenal run at the ticket windows. Back here in India, War is ready to cross Rs 300 crore club. Before the film achieves that feat, it has already surpassed the lifetime collection of Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3. Yes, you read that right. According to early estimates, War approximately collected Rs 3 crore on day 16. And with that, the film has crushed Dhoom 3 to emerge as the ninth highest grosser of all time. The total box office collection of War stands at Rs 287.20 crore.

After surpassing the lifetime business of Dhoom 3, War will achieve another milestone at the box office. Over the weekend, the Hrithik Roshan starrer is expected to beat the lifetime business of Salman Khan's Sultan (Rs 300. 45 crore). "#War will cross *lifetime biz* of #Dhoom3 today [Wed]... In a 3.5 star review for War, our critic wrote, "Hrithik Roshan is hot but what is even hotter is the work of the action directors of the film. Paul Jennings' choreographed car chase in the Arctic Circle of Finland is simply wow. The same goes for the pulsating bike sequence in Portugal. It looks straight out of a motorbike Grand Prix. Coming to the actors, Hrithik Roshan drives the film with his charisma. We are sure some of the scenes will have separate fandoms. He is looking smoking hot. And Anand has captured him with a lot of love. His Kabir is cool, intense and wry at the same time. Tiger Shroff matches his mentor in every frame, especially in the action sequences. The young actor comes into his own in the climax where his acting chops stand out."
