After Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh, Nikita Dutta to romance Abhishek Bachchan

TV actress Nikita Dutta who rose to fame post her show Ek Duje Ke Vaaste is making it big in the Bollywood it seems. The actress was last seen in Kabir Singh (2019) where she played a character opposite Shahid Kapoor. And now Nikita Dutta is ready with her next outing in Bollywood. According to a report in Bombay Times, Nikita will be seen opposite Abhishek Bachchan in the financial crime drama, The Big Bull. As per the report, the actress has already kickstarted the shooting for the film in Delhi.

The film primarily revolves around the life of Harshad Mehta, who became infamous for the Securities Scam in 1992. A source informed the daily that, "The makers had liked Nikita and Abhishek's pairing in the first go. She plays an important role in the story."

Interestingly, this is not the only Bollywood project Nikita has in her kitty. The actress is also doing another film opposite Emraan Hashmi. This one is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit, Ezra.

Earlier, when Nikita was asked about doing supporting roles in Bollywood movies, in an interview with BollywoodLife, the actress said, "I have stopped looking at roles as lead or parallel lead. Also, I feel these are very misleading terms. My focus stays on doing good films with notable characters." In the same interview, the actress also lauded Mouni Roy for her successful transition from TV to films. She had then said, "Mouni has been in the industry now for a long time and her list of work is long and commendable. She has made some good professional choices."
