Almost official? KL Rahul puts a candid picture on Athiya Shetty's birthday and she 'hearts' it!

BollywoodLife was the one to report the big news of Indian cricketer KL Rahul dating Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty. On June 28, we reported that the two have been seeing each other since the month of February. Although both Athiya and Rahul ('s spokesperson, as the cricketer, was busy playing for the Indian cricket team in the then going World Cup in London) chose to remain silent, it seems their social media PDA is finally making it official. Yesterday, Athiya Shetty celebrated her birthday and her timeline was filled with celebratory messages. However, one birthday wish that caught everyone's attention was of KL Rahul.

Rahul posted a candid picture with Athiya from one of their dates. While the picture itself spoke volumes, Athiya also happened to share the picture with a series of black heart emojis. Interestingly, Rahul used one of the same emojis as a comment on Athiya's birthday post.

Earlier in the month of August, Shetty's close friend and designer Vikram Phadnis in the out and openly pulled her leg. Phadnis used KL Rahul's name to tease the Mubarakan actress on one of her posts. It happened so that Athiya posted a generic motivational post on Instagram. To tease her publicly Vikram dropped a comment which read, "You seem to be v hyper and excited these days ??? Let's go to KL ??? ..... Kuala Lumpur ???? ?,' Phadnis commented. He was also on a comment spree. He left another one read, "I will complain to the UMPIRE !! @athiyashettyand once your WICKET is gone ... it's back to the pavilion !!!"

As the leg-pulling spree continued, Athiya remained silent, however, she just left one comment replying to Phadnis' which read, 'TIME to block you!'

Well, coming back to Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul, it seems things are soon going to become public.
