Movies This Week: Bala, Satellite Shankar, Bypass Road, Black and Blue, Midway

Housefull 4 continued to shine last week while Ujda Chaman and Terminator: Dark Fate received mixed responses from the junta. This week will see the release of three Hindi and two Hollywood releases. While the Hindi releases are Bala, Satellite Shankar, Bypass Road, the Hollywood ones include Black and Blue and Midway. Bala is already in the buzz for being very similar to Ujda Chaman. On the other hand, Satellite Shankar stars Suraj Pancholi. Here's a quick look at the films releasing this week

Bala

Director: Amar Kaushik

Cast: Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam

Synopsis: The film tells the story of Bala (Ayushmann Khurana) a man who is balding prematurely and how he copes with the situation.

Satellite Shankar

Director: Irfan Kamal

Cast: Suraj Pancholi, Anil Reji, Megha Akash

Synopsis: It is based on the real-life story of a soldier who finds himself during his journey of finding the length and breadth of his country.

Bypass Road

Director: Naman Nitin Mukesh

Cast: Neil Nitin Mukesh, Adah Sharma, Shama Sikander, Gul Panag, Rajit Kapur, Sudhanshu Pandey, Manish Chaudhary, Taher Shabbir

Synopsis: Bypass Road is a coming of age thriller of a paraplegic who is the victim of a brutal accident but is also a prime suspect in a murder. Being trapped in his own home, he also has to defend himself against the killer. Will he overcome his weakness and fight to survive? Who is the actual killer?

Black and Blue

Director: Deon Taylor

Cast: Naomie Harris, Mike Colter, Frank Grillo

Synopsis: A rookie New Orleans police officer is forced to balance her identity as a black woman after she witnesses two corrupt cops committing murder.

Midway

Director: Roland Emmerich

Cast: Woody Harrelson, Ed Skrein, Patrick Wilson

Synopsis: Midway is based on the story of attack on Pearl Harbor and the subsequent Battle of Midway during World War II.
