Taapsee Pannu to romance THIS handsome hunk in Aanand L Rai's next

2019 has turned out to be a phenomenal year for Taapsee Pannu as she delivered winners like Badla, Mission Mangal and Saand Ki Aankh. The 32-year-old actress already has a busy schedule in 2020 with Thappad and Rashmi Rocket in her kitty and now she has come on board for one project which is a romantic thriller. The Pink actress will romance Vikrant Massey, who is seen films like Lootera, Dil Dhadakne Do, Half Girlfriend and many others. The untitled film will be bankrolled by Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar under their banners Color Yellow Productions and T-Series and will be directed by Vinil Mathew, who previously helmed Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer Hasee Toh Phasee. This Taapsee and Vikrant film is expected to go on floors in 2020.

Talking about the film, a source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, "The makers thought a fresh pair would work in the film's favour as it will keep the mystery element intact since there will be no preconceived notions about them as a couple." The source further added that the film will be shot in North India but the location is not finalized yet. "But since the story is set in that part of the country, the makers want to keep it authentic."

Meanwhile, Vikrant Massey will soon kickstart the promotions of his upcoming film Chhapaak along with producer and costar Deepika Padukone and director Meghna Gulzar. DP portrays the character of an acid attack survivor and the film is set to hit the screens on January 10, 2020.
