After revealing the looks of Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar and Luke Kenny, the makers have of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior have dropped the look of Kajol, who portrays the character of Savitribai Malusare. Talking about her look, the actress' intense and feisty avatar raises our excitement for the trailer to the next level. Ajay Devgn shared the poster of Kajol's poster and captioned it, "Savitribai Malusare - Tanhaji ke saahas ka sahara... aur unke bal ki shakti. #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior in cinemas 10th January 2020. Talking about Kajol's character, director Om Raut told Bombay Times, "Savitribai Malusare is a very important character. She is a strong woman who stands behind her warrior husband. She is loving, homely, motherly, and is also Tanhaji's strong support system in every aspect of his life. While he fights the war on the battlefield, Savitri manages the fort at home. We wanted an actor who could pull off the multi-faceted character effortlessly. When we narrated the part to Kajolji, she liked it a lot. She has enacted the part beautifully, and it's a treat to watch her on-screen."

Made on the lavish budget of Rs 150 crore, it is one of the ambitious projects of Ajay Devgn. Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero is scheduled to hit the screens on January 10, 2020, and will lock horns with Deepika Padukone starrer Chhapaak, which is directed by Raazi helmer Meghna Gulzar.
