Thala Ajith's Valimai to release on THIS date at the box office

It's a joyous news for all Thala Ajith fans as the release date of his upcoming biggie Valimai has been announced by the makers and the action-thriller has booked the big Diwali weekend of 2020. It means the mega-budget film will surely have a cracker of a opening during the festival of lights. Interestingly, this is his second Diwali release after 2015's Vedalam, which was a huge blockbuster at the box office. Valimai will go on floors from December 13.

A few days back, the new look of Thala Ajith went viral, where he donned a handlebar moustache and a grey hair. All his fans assumed that this is his look for Valimai. The title means strength and by looking at his fandoms, we must say, Thala Ajith is Valimai, indeed! In an interview, Boney Kapoor had earlier told DNA, "I got to know him closely during the shoot of our Tamil film Nerkonda Paarvai. I was pleasantly surprised to know about his passion for racing and other sports. It was only natural that our next project together is a thriller that uses his passion for speed. I would love to have him in a Hindi film with an action backdrop."

As per the Mid-day report, the film is an action thriller, with the backdrop of racing. Thala Ajith will portray the character of a racer in this mega-budget film, which will be shot in South Africa, Budapest and Middle-East. Valimai marks the second collaboration between Thala Ajith, director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor after Nerkonda Paarvai. Anyway, have you liked the new look of Thala Ajith?
