After a lot of anticipation and buzz, the makers launched the teaser of Nandamuri Balakrishna's Ruler and it received a thunderous response from the audience. Directed by KS Ravikumar, the film also stars Sonal Chauhan, Bhumika Chawla, Prakash Raj and Vedhika in key roles and is set to hit the screens on December 20.

Jr NTR refuses Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivi?

Kangana Ranaut is stepping into the shoes of politician Jayalaithaa in the upcoming multi-lingual venture Thalaivi. While all the cinegoers are eagerly waiting for this biographical political drama, the recent reports came out stating that Tollywood superstar Jr NTR was approached for a key role in the film but he refused the offer. Though the reason behind this decision has not been revealed yet. Thalaivi also stars Arvind Swami in a key role. It will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

IT officials raid Daggubati Suresh Babu's house and offices

In the last week, producer and Rana Daggubati's father Suresh Babu came under the scanner of the Income Tax Department as raids were conducted at his house and the offices. It is also being reported that the IT officials have asked for an explanation on IT returns documents of the last four years. "IT Raids on #RamanaiduStudios 3 IT official teams raided multiple places belongs to Suresh Production this morning Officials seeking explanation on IT returns documents for the last four years and already seized few important documents Raids may continue till evening," tweeted Aakashavaani.
