Tuesday Trivia: Did you know that Bobby Deol replaced THIS young star in Salman Khan's Race 3?

Despite being rejected outright, Salman Khan's Race 3 managed to recover its bulk investment, mostly through external sources. The Remo D'Souza's action-thriller brought Bobby Deol back in a stylish avatar on the silver screen after a long time. But you'll be amazed to know that he wasn't the first choice for the film. The role was earlier offered to Hasee Toh Phasee star Sidharth Malhotra, but due to date issues, he couldn't sign on the dotted line.

Talking about it, Sidharth said, "There were no creative differences. There were other things on my plate, so I couldn't shift them around to do that film (Race 3). There was time limitation, they wanted to start the shoot immediately, and I couldn't do it, which is why I couldn't go ahead with the film. I know Ramesh Taurani and Salman Khan, and they are wonderful people to work with. Maybe (I will work with them) in the future, if not this."

Honestly, it'd be a treat for us to watch two good-looking actors like Salman Khan and Sidharth Malhotra share screen space.

Meanwhile, Sidharth is currently gearing for the release of Marjaavaan, which is set to hit the screens this Friday. Also starring Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet in key roles, it's directed by Milap Zaveri of Satyameva Jayate fame, and produced by Nikkhil Advani, Divya Khosla Kumar, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, under the banners of Emmay Entertainment and T-Series. The film will lock horns with Nawazuddin Siddiqui-Athiya Shetty starrer, Motichoor Chaknachoor at the box office. So, which will be your choice among these two over the coming weekend?
