Varun Dhawan to ROMANCE these two beauties in Shashank Khaitan's next

Varun Dhawan's film with Shashank Khaitan, which was announced last year has been on hold for a while now. The duo along with Karan Johar posted a picture of them along with filmmaker Karan Johar announcing their venture Rannbhoomi and locked the release date of Diwali 2020. But post that, the film went on the backburner due to the scripting process. Now Varun has again joined hands with Shashank but not for Rannbhoomi or third installment of the Dulhania franchise. This time it's for an out-and-out commercial entertainer, which will also feature Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani in key roles.

The untitled venture will be bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. A source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, "After contemplating several options, Shashank and KJo finalised the trio. They liked the script and were immediately on board." The film is still in the scripting stage and the makers are planning to start the film in mid-2020.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan will be next seen in Street Dancer 3D. Directed by Remo D'Souza, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhudheva, Nora Fatehi, Sonam Bajwa, Shakti Mohan, Vartika Jha, Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak and Raghav Juyal in key roles. The film is shot in 3D and converted to 4DX later. It is scheduled to release on January 24, 2020, and is produced by Bhushan Kumar under his banner T-Series. It will clash with Kangana Ranaut and Richa Chadha's Panga at the ticket windows. Post that he will star in papa David Dhawan's Coolie No 1 along with Paresh Rawal and Sara Ali Khan. This comic caper will hit the screens on May 1, 2020.
