Worst-dressed: From Ananya Panday to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, here the divas who failed the fashion test

Thanks to all the B-Town Diwali parties, we have had a lot to see this past week. From all the glitz to all the glamour, showbiz came down hard to show us how to dress for a gala. And mind you, we were taking notes. But while making memos for all the inspiration of various #OOTD we also spotted some low-scoring picks which, we thought, we should share for the greater good of all. Apart from the festive deck, some event-ready celebs represented time but not a fashionable one (you'll see). A lot is going around in the biz, might as well look good while going around, no?

So here we go... From Ananya Panday to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and from Tara Sutaria to Athiya Shetty, these stunning ladies fell short of oomph with their share of sparkle and glitter, and have made their way into our worst dressed category. Even Athiya Shetty stepped in a fashion faux pas. See for yourself...

Ananya Panday

'No. Why? How?' These are the few things that came to our mind when we saw Ananya Panday who has fronted her fashion foot forward successfully to wear this? But then it is a Manish Malhotra outfit and with it comes an illusion that everything that glitters is gold. Yeah, this is a classic example of how it is not. Ananya, whose innate style speaks volumes about ease and confidence, looks like a gift wrapped in blinding, embellished silver bow (blouse) and grey drape (skirt).

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is usually her effortless and gorgeous self but the actress recently wore a muted pink Ziad Germanos number and we're not sure if she was going for the princess vine but she's a damn Queen, yo! So, clearly she deserved better. That and what's with the understated make-up with just a hint of gloss on the lips? Man, these are the moments when you realize the magic of Mickey Contractor!

Tara Sutaria

Tara Sutaria is going to town these days to promote her upcoming film, Marjaavaan with Sidharth Malhotra but we are not liking we are seeing on her. Case in point, this ikaat coord skirt and crop top from the house of Verb by Pallavi Singhee. There are lot of colours for sure but not the right ones in the right places. Boho fail, if you ask us.

Athiya Shetty

Recently, Athiya Shetty, who is also everywhere to promote Motichoor Chaknachoor, in which she stars opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui, was spotted in a Lovebirds outfit and we're not feeling it. The signature Misho Designs choker we dig, but the rest just screams blah. And that's that!

Kriti Kharbanda

Kriti Kharbanda has just had a blockbuster release with Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 and is also awaiting an equally pagal Pagalpanti with John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and team, wore a burgundy sequinned lehenga by Sunaina Khera for a Diwali Party. And we are wondering why! Neither the fall nor the shimmer, nothing about the ensemble gels. Also just middle parting and jhumkas are done to death; where's the styling?
