Bigg Boss 13 is turning out to be one of the most eventful seasons ever. It has been defined by fights, arguments, age-shaming, body-shaming, abusive language and so on. If all this was not enough, some people have started commenting on Shefali Jariwala and Asim Riaz's friendship. The two have been spending a lot of time together inside the house, with Himanshi Khurana, Shefali and Asim being like a trio now. After a fun task on Weekend Ka Vaar and Paras Chhabra's somewhat distasteful comment on it, people began posting stuff on Shefali and Asim's closeness inside the house. So much so, that her husband and actor Parag Tyagi had to pen down a note on Twitter, slammed the mentality of people to imagine that there was something brewing between Shefali and Asim.
We cannot understand why people find it tough to accept that a man and woman can just be friends. Is it really that impossible to comprehend? And involving someone's spouse in the comments is hitting a new low. It seems like these people have never seen people of the opposite sex chat freely or share a hug on a TV show. Shefali has been playing the game rather well. In fact, she was honest about her special friendship with Sidharth Shukla years ago.
We wonder why women are only subjected to this kind of scrutiny. We have Paras Chhabra, who is reportedly in a committed relationship, sharing a special connection with Mahira Sharma inside the house. No one raises eyebrows on him, do they? Moreover, what's the big deal if a married woman gives a compliment to a good-looking male friend? It's surely not something that should come in the way of a relationship or even be a point of conversation for that matter. Though not needed, we love how Parag Tyagi came out in defence of his wife. Guys, please accept that a man and woman can be JUST FRIENDS!
