2019 RECAP: Five things that contributed to Bigg Boss 13 becoming the most successful season so far

Bigg Boss 13 has been in the news even before it began. The show was the most awaited one this year and the new concept of the show grabbed a lot of eyeballs. It has been full of fights, controversies and lots of drama. The fights in the house have become a regular part of the show. All these have made this season the most successful season out of all the seasons of the reality show so far. So much that it also got extended for five weeks and the finale will now happen on February 15, 2020. This season also had the most number of wildcard entries. With only a few months left for the season to end, here are five things that contributed to Bigg Boss 13 becoming the most successful season so far.

The New Concept

Bigg Boss 13 had a totally different concept than the previous seasons. The season had its first finale in four weeks where three contestants got evicted and the wild cards entered the show. During the premiere episode as well, the entry of the housemates was quite different. They were all given a Bed Friend Forever and they had to share the bed with the same person. However, this concept was later removed. Amisha Patel was also a part of the show as the Malkin of the house and used to assign interesting tasks to the housemates. However, she has been missing for a long time now. This season we also saw that there were open nominations which led to the game plans of the housemates changing constantly.

Terrific wild cards

Post the first finale, we had the wild card entries. Khesari Lal Yadav, Hindustani Bhau, Shefali Jariwala, Tehseen Ponnawala, Arhaan Khan, and Himanshi Khurana entered the house and brought about new energy in the house. The show became quite interesting after their entry as they were quite amazing in their strategies. Some did not perform well but they did make their presence felt. Later, Vishal Aditya Singh entered the house and looked like another strong contestant's entry. Soon after this, Madhurima Tuli, Vishal's ex-girlfriend entered and the show got even more interesting. With Madhurima, Shefali Bagga and Arhaan Khan also entered the show again after being evicted. Bigg Boss 11's mastermind Vikas Gupta entered the show as the proxy for Devoleena as she had been taken out of the house for being injured.

 

Sidharth and Shehnaaz's friendship

Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill's cute friendship became the talk of the town. They were loved by the fans and also received a cute name #SidNaaz from them. Shehnaaz is a complete entertainer while Sidharth is the strongest contender of the show. Their way of talking to each other, taking stand for each other, fighting with each other are all cute. These two have become the most talked-about contestants.

 

Sidharth and Rashami's equation

Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai are considered as the strong contenders of the show. The two were the bed partners and kitchen duty partners earlier. They were quite good to each other in the start but later their fights began. The two had worked together on a show and did not share good relations then. The enmity between them reflected in the house. Their fights became so irritating that even Salman Khan had warned them not to behave this way. Suddenly the two were again quite good with each other and fought the next moment. Bigg Boss had given them a task to recreate a romantic scene from their previous show and fans went crazy with their sizzling chemistry. Recently they had a huge fight during the weekend ka vaar episode. The Rashami Desai and Sidharth Shukla fight got escalated to such a level that the entire series has never witnessed such a nasty fight. We saw Sidharth Shukla calling Rashami Desai, Asim Riaz's naukrani. An angry Rashami gave it back to Sidharth Shukla who kept calling her 'aisi ladki' and they both dragged their past into their fight.

 

Drama

There has been a lot of drama in the house. The equations in the house have been changing continuously and we see a lot of drama coming with it. This season, the most number of fights have been over food and the duties of the house. The relationships in the house have been changing a lot. Friends have turned foes and vice versa. Heartbreaks and controversies took place and this season became the talk of the town.
