Ayushmann Khurrana is on a roll! The chap, who started out as a reality show contestant, has emerged as one of the bankable actors of Bollywood. Owing to his back-to-back successful films, the actor has become a great choice for the filmmakers. They are ready to have him onboard without batting an eyelid. In the last two years, Ayushmann Khurrana has delivered big hits like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Savdhan, Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho, Article 15, Dream Girl, and Bala. Basically, Ayushmann is unstoppable and it's really hard to match up to his level. The Khurrana lad also bagged the National Award for his exceptional performance in Sriram Raghavan's Andhadhun.

Now, if a Mumbai Mirror report is to be believed then Ayushmann Khurrana has hiked his price x3 times and industry insiders feel he deserves it. Considering his fine acting skills and success rate, we also feel his hike is considerable. Actors often start charging more after they become bankable for the filmmakers as well as producers. Ayushmann Khurrana's case is no different. The actor was last seen in Bala with Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam. And needless to add, the film, based on premature baldness, shattered many box office records.

Ayushmann Khurrana expects Badhaai Ho to do equally good business in China

Expressing happiness over his super-successful 2019, Ayushmann recently said, "It has been an eye-opening year for me. This year has bolstered my belief that I should only back content that is extremely fresh, disruptive, unique and experimental because the audience expects that from me. It has been humbling to get the kind of love and adulation from the audience as well as from critics. I have been fortunate to have got films that have given me the opportunity to creatively express myself completely and my success is because of the film-makers who have believed in me."
