BL Predicts: Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 to storm the box office with one of the biggest openings ever

It's a treat for all Bhaijaan fans as Dabangg 3 is set to hit the screens this Friday, and we are expecting this Salman Khan cop-actioner to set the box-office on fire. The buzz of the film is at its peak and industry experts are claiming it'll set new benchmarks at ticket windows. Dabangg 3, which is expected to release in over 4000 screens, will also get a decent screen count down South as it is releasing Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Since the lead antagonist of the film, Kiccha Sudeep, is a huge Kannada star, we can expect a good contribution from that market.

As per our prediction, the masala entertainer has the potential to earn between Rs. 35 to Rs. 40 crore nett on its first day. If the film achieves this number, it will be nothing short of phenomenal, considering that the release falls on a normal working Friday. The word-of-mouth can boost or affect the business in multiplexes, but reviews won't matter for Salman Khan's diehard fans. Even Salman is quite confident about the film and had earlier said, "We had locked the story long back, but I wasn't able to do it due to other commitments. With every film, I try to give the audiences a little more than what I offered in my previous outing, in terms of comedy, action and drama. I have worked 10 times harder on this film." He further added, "Usually, sequels don't fare as well as the first film. But we have worked hard on this one. Dabangg 3 should be the biggest of the lot. It has lot more than just masala."

Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter, Saiee, is also making her Bollywood debut with Dabangg 3 and will be paired opposite Salman Khan in the prequel portions. Talking about it, Arbaaz had said, "Saiee's scenes are in the prequel and we had gone through the entire process of trying to see who could fit the bill. She has the look that we required for Dabangg 3." Also starring Sonakshi Sinha in a key role, Dabangg 3 marks the second collaboration between Prabhdheva and Salman Khan after Wanted.
