Mardaani 2 box office collection day 3 early estimates: Rani Mukerji's film enjoys a phenomenal opening weekend

After enjoying a decent opening day, Rani Mukerji's Mardaani 2, witnessed a solid upward trend on Saturday and Sunday at the box office, which helped the film to pack a solid total at the domestic market. As per the early estimates, Mardaani 2 has earned around Rs 10 crore and now stands with the grand total of Rs 20.35 crore. Looking at the current trend, we are expecting the film to hold well in the weekdays.

The lead actress, who must be pretty much happy about the film's performance, earlier said that more girls should join the police force. "I want more and more girls and women of our country to choose the police department as their profession because personally as a citizen of this country, I feel that there aren't better police officers than female police officers," said Rani, at a special screening of "Mardaani 2" for female officers of Maharashtra Police in Mumbai. Mardaani 2 is directed by Gopi Puthran and produced by Rani Mukerji's husband Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It marks the Bollywood debut of Vishal Jethwa, who played the lead antagonist in the film.

Talking about the reviews, our critic, Urmimala Banerjee gave the film 3 stars and wrote, "Mardaani 2 is a well-made crime thriller with a good topic of the growing number of criminals in the adolescent population.
