Mardaani 2 box office collection day 7 early estimates: Rani Mukerji's film ends its opening week on a winning note

Rani Mukerji's Mardaani 2 has ended its opening week on a great note as the film raked in around Rs 28 crore at the ticket windows. After enjoying a weekend, Mardaani 2 trended well in the weekdays, which resulted into great collections at the ticket windows. Though the film will face a solid screen crunch from today as Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 has hit the screens today.

Apart from Rani Mukerji, the audience has also praised the performance of debutant Vishal Jethwa. Talking about the response, the actor wrote on his social media account, "Sunny is a person no one should ever become. Our film warns of people like him. It was hard for me to become this monster Sunny, very hard. I was exhausted after this process because I was in a very dark place and I remember one day I couldn't take it anymore and I broke down and kept sobbing for a long time. Your love is a huge validation that I did my best. I will try and only do better from here on."

Talking about the reviews, our critic, Urmimala Banerjee gave the film 3 stars and wrote, "Mardaani 2 is a well-made crime thriller with a good topic of the growing number of criminals in the adolescent population.
