The film which is being helmed by Mudassar Aziz also stars Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in key roles. A remake of the 1978's classic of the same name, release tomorrow and as the film is inching closer to the release, Ananya along with Kartik and Bhumi are on a promotional spree. However, when she was approached for the character of 'Woh' in the film, the actress was shocked as she thought of herself as the 'Patni' type.
In the early stages of promotions, Ananya Panday had revealed that she used to watch all the old classics along with her mother and her grandmother. The actress went on to reveal that she had laughed hard every time when she watched the 1978 version. While talking to Mumbai Mirror, the actress revealed what intrigued and attracted her to the character of Tapasya. She deemed her as not the usual vamp or a home breaker but just a confident and independent young girl who usually finds herself in the wrong situation.
When asked her what advice she would give to Tapasya the actress told Mirror, "I'd tell her to not interfere in someone's relationship. If that person wanted to be with you, they would not keep you hanging. So, what's the point of hurting everyone around you." However, when asked about her take on love and relationships, the actress said, "I am a romantic person, I love being in love. I'm in love with the idea of love. I have had my fair share of relationships. It's normal and one shouldn't judge me for it because in school you have many short-short relationships, you know. I started working from a young age and have matured a lot in the past year."
When asked if she was in a relationship she added saying, "My life is so public already, I want to keep some things private." But when asked if she could be in a relationship with a person like Chintu Tyagi, the actress said, "It's okay to be attracted to other people but not to the point where your partner gets uncomfortable. I can't ever deal with a boyfriend or husband like Chintu Tyagi. I'm very loyal and I expect the same."
