After Raid and Total Dhamaal, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior set to become Ajay Devgn's eleventh film to enter the Rs 100 crore club

Director Om Raut's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is enjoying a phenomenal run at the box office. The historical drama has crossed the Rs 90 crore and will enter the Rs 100 crore club today. Apart from becoming the first film to achieve this feat in 2019, it will become Ajay Devgn's eleventh venture to hit the century at the box office after Golmaal 3, Singham, Bol Bachchan, Son of Sardaar, Shivaay, Singham Returns, Raid, Golmaal Again, Total Dhamaal and Raid.

The historical drama also stars Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, Sharad Kelkar, Luke Kenny, Neha Sharma and Devdutta Nage in key roles. The period drama is based on the life of Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare, who was a trusted military leader of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Since there are no big releases this Friday, we are expecting Tanhaji to continue its dominance at the ticket windows.

Talking about reviews, our critic Urmimala Banerjee gave the film 4 stars and wrote, "Ajay Devgn delivers an adrenaline-raising experience with Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. It is a film that you will remember for its scenes and moments. Watch it in a single screen so that you don't feel awkward hooting or clapping. That is if you do!"She also praised the technical aspects of the film and wrote, "Om Raut and Prakash Kapadia have written some rousing dialogues for the film. Another star of the film is cinematographer Keiko Nakahara. The battle happens at night and it is shown beautifully on screen. Sandeep Shirodkar does a great job with the BGM.
