Shehnaaz Gill and Mahira Sharma's rivalry has been one of the many talking points of Bigg Boss 13. Their equation hasn't changed for better ever since the Naagin actress termed Shehnaaz a jealous person. Shehnaaz has taken it to her heart and she easily gets agitated when someone calls her jealous. She threw tantrums when her best friend, Sidharth Shukla, jokingly called her jealous. She was upset with him for a day or so before he made the move and apologised to her. Coming back to Shehnaaz and Mahira, it doesn't seem that they would become friends again. For the first time ever, Salman Khan also slammed Shehnaaz for dragging this matter and asked her what is her problem. Shehnaaz broke down in front of the Dabangg actor but he refused to buy her antics. Shehnaaz said she wants to quit the game, to which Salman readily agreed and asked the makers to open the door for Shehnaaz, who couldn't help but cry profusely.

Recently, when Mahira Sharma's mother, Sania Sharma, was asked about Shehnaaz Gill, she also expressed her disliking for the Punjabi girl and told Times Of India, "Shehnaz Gill is a very good actor. She can cry at the drop of the hat. People, who genuinely cry they don't need to shout and show it to others. My heart sank when I saw her crying in the weekend ka vaar episode. She is the youngest but I am really proud of the way she is cooking for everyone and making sure everyone eats. I would like to see Mahira Sharma, Sidharth Shukla and Paras Chhabra in the top 3."
