Despite the dominance of Rajinikanth's Darbar, Dhanush's Pattas continues its phenomenal run at the box office
Dhanush's Pattas has turned out to be a huge winner at the Tamil Nadu box office. Till now, the action-drama has raked in over Rs 25 crore and is still going strong at the ticket windows. With Pattas, producers Sathya Jyothi has got second consecutive Pongal hit after Thala Ajith and Nayanthara's Viswasam, which was released in 2019.

Actress Sneha, who is receiving rave reviews for her performance, expressed her happiness of being a part of Pattas and said in a statement, "For an artiste to shine, first of all, the director has to think of writing something good. Especially, in a movie featuring an ace actor like Dhanush, I got a pivotal role to perform and I am happy about it. I thank my masters, who trained me in the aesthetic martial arts form, Adimurai. I also extend my gratitude to Dhanush."
Producer TG Thyagarajan also praised her lead actress and told Indian Express, "Once again, Sneha has proved that the audience will celebrate actors, if they are challenged with substantial roles. I appreciate Durai Senthilkumar for having come up with a powerful character." Pattas is directed by R.S. Durai Senthilkumar and produced and presented by Sathya Jyoti Films.
