Laxmmi Bomb: Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani shoot for a special song 'Burj Khalifa' in Dubai

Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani are going to be the busiest stars this year. They will be seen collaborating for the first time in the Raghava Lawrence directorial venture. The film was announced in January last year with the director's hit Tamil franchise being remade in Bollywood. Laxmmi Bomb went on floors in April last year with the shoot of the special song called Bismillah. Now, there are new reports that reveal further development of the film. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani recently shot a special dance number in Dubai.

As per a source, the song is titled 'Burj Khalifa' and is a peppy dance number featuring the two of them. "Akshay and Kiara sport several looks in the song which has been shot across Dubai in places like Burj Khalifa, Meydan Bridge, Jumeihra Beach and Marina City," the source informed the daily while also stating that it will be choreographed by none other than Ganesh Acharya.

The source further revealed that one of the sequences in the song will see him sporting a gold chain and an orange dungaree. "There's a section that features him and Kiara doing some hip-hop moves," the source further revealed. For the special number, the crew had flown to Dubai in advance for preparations. Akshay Kumar who was in Cape Town for the New year's Eve, jetted off to Dubai for the shoot where he was joined by Kiara Advani who flew to the location from her Safari vacation. It took 3 days to shoot the song.

Post this, Akshay Kumar will head back to Mumbai to resume shooting for his period drama, Prithviraj. Laxmmi Bomb is an official remake of Muni 2: Kanchana. Apart from Akshay and Kiara, the film also stars Sharad Kelkar, Ashwini Kalsekar, Tusshar Kapoor in key roles.
