Monday Memes: Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan’s Love Aaj Kal trailer becomes fodder for some quirky memes

On Friday, the trailer of the much-awaited Imtiaz Ali film, Love Aaj Kal, dropped. The film is a quasi-sequel to the Director's 2009 hit and one of the year's highest grossers. As far as the trailer goes, it is just like the previous one. A love story set in two different time periods. The new love story is set in 1990 and 2020. We see Kartik playing dual roles in the film. Kartik's character, Veer, is very much attracted to Zoe and he keeps following her. Zoe, played by Sara Ali Khan, is a headstrong girl with a vision for her career. When their worlds collide, Zoe is not able to cope with both romance and her career. Will they manage to find true love and, more importantly, stay in love, or will extraneous circumstance destroy their relationship these queries form the crux of the film.

There are several dialogues that click as also two recreational tracks from the original film. It looks like Aahun Aahun and Twist will be recreated. Pritam has composed the music for this one as well, with lyrics written by Irshad Kamil. Now, you all will be well aware of the tradition of meme makers. As soon as any trailer, song, teaser, or promo drops on the net, you've got to find a relatable line/lines and make a meme out of it. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan's chemistry has always been the talk of the town, even before the trailer had dropped. In an interview with an online entertainment portal, Kartik spoke about the #SarTik frenzy that has taken social media by a storm. "The kind of fan frenzy SarTik jo ek word create hua hai, it's something which has never happened before the film. Ek frame mein screen pe dekhne se pehle hi yeh chalu hua hai. I love these a lot and I hope ki sablog They won't be disappointed!" he went on to add.
