Saki Saki girl Nora Fatehi replaces Parineeti Chopra in Ajay Devgn's war film

It has been extensively reported that Parineeti Chopra, has opted out of Abhishek Dudhaiya's Bhuj: The Pride of India in November last year. Chopra was said to play a spy in the movie however due to her busy schedule with Saina Nehwal biopic and an upcoming mystery-thriller, The Girl on the Train, Chopra had to take the decision. And now as per a report in Mirror, the makers have finally found a replacement for Chopra. Bigg Boss 9 inmate Nora Fatehi has been roped in to play the part in the film which is helmed by Bhushan Kumar, Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh and Kumar Mangat Pathak.

A source close to the development, was quoted by the daily, "She came on board recently and has started attending workshops for her role with the director, also focussing on getting the body language of a spy right. She will start shooting after January 12, as part of the war-drama's 15-day last schedule."

Nora has been part of several hit songs, of late and has also acted in several projects. She was seen as an actress on screen with the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-led Bharat. In John Abraham's Batla House, she not only had a special song Saki Saki but also a small role. Next she will be seen in Street Dancer 3D with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.

Coming to the film Bhuj: The Pride of India, it is set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Ajay Devgn plays a character based on Squadron Leader, Vijay Karnik. Vijay was the in-charge of the Bhuj airbase. With the help of 300 women from a nearby village along with his 50 Air Force and 60 defence security personnel, Vijay reconstructed the Indian Air Force airstrip. The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha as social worker Sunderben, Sanjay Dutt playing a local named Ranchordas, Rana Daggubati as a Lieutenant Colonel and Ammy Virk as a pilot.
