Tejas: Kangana Ranaut CONFIRMS playing an Air Force pilot in producer Ronnie Screwvala's film

Bollywood news: Kangana Ranaut has always been open to experimentation. The actress doesn't fear taking up different characters and she usually goes the extra mile to get everything correct. Having done films like Queen, Fashion, Judegmentall Hai Kya and others, Kangana has carved a niche for herself in the industry. With her next film, the actress is planning to leave us spellbound as she will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. Kangana Ranaut has reportedly come on-board for Ronnie Srewvala's Tejas. The film, which will be directed by Sarvesh Mewara, will see Kangana Ranaut playing an Air Force pilot. The actress confirmed this development to Mumbai Mirror and said that she was fascinated with Armed Forces since her childhood.

"I've always wanted to play a soldier and have been fascinated with the Armed Forces since childhood. I've never held back my emotions for our jawans and spoken openly about how strongly I feel about their heroism. They keep our country secure and our people safe. So, I'm very happy to be doing this film," she told the leading daily. The filming of Tejas begins in July and the actress is required to undergo intense training for her character. In fact, Sarvesh Mewara has decided to get professional trainers on-board to make sure everything works out well.

Kangana, who signed this film about two weeks ago, is grateful to Ronnie and Sarvesh for providing her this opportunity. "I'm thankful to Ronnie sir and Sarvesh who have come to me with this extraordinary script that celebrates the heroism of our soldiers," the actress said. She is quite excited to wear the uniform and mentioned that being in uniform will be the biggest highlight of her life.

As of now, Kangana is working on late J Jayalalithaa's biopic and Dhaakad. Her film, Panga, has also released today and it has got a green signal from the critics.
