Throwback Thursday: When Varun heartthrob Varun Dhawan met the legendary actor Robert De Niro
If you are movie-lover and have followed Hollywood, Robert De Niro is a name which will instantly make you say a great actor, who essayed ordinary roles in the most extraordinary way. His commitment to the character and the authenticity, which he brings has been applauded by the audience globally. The actor, who has been entertaining us for around 5 decades has given some unforgettable performances in films like Raging Bull, The Godfather 2, Silver Linings Playbook, Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, Midnight Run and the recently released, The Irishman.
Well, for many actors he is an acting institute and inspiration and while we have seen him spreading magic on the celluloid, the heartthrob of Bollywood, Varun Dhawan is one of the lucky actors, who had the chance of meeting this living legend. Three years ago, the Student of the Year star had met Robert De Niro and had posted the picture with the caption, "#tbt when I met the raging bull. #robertdeniro". Looking at the above pic, we can just say that Varun must have taken tips on improving his acting craft and working on different characters.
The 32-year-old actor is currently busy in promoting his upcoming dance film, Street Dancer 3D, which is set to hit the screens this Friday. It is directed by Remo D'Souza and marks his second collaboration with Varun after ABCD 2 (Any Body Can Dance 2). The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Punit Pathak, Dharmesh Yelande, Raghav Juyal, Salman Yusuff Khan and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles.
