Global dominance of Rajinikanth's Darbar

It's Rajinimania across the globe. Thalaivar once again showed his box office mettle with Darbar and grabbed the fifth position at the worldwide box office with over Rs 150 crore. The film also topped the Chennai box office by dominating other releases.

Income Tax raid at Rashmika Mandanna's residence

The Kannada star, who featured in hits like Geetha Govindam and recently released Sarileru Neekevvaru, grabbed our attention as a team of 10 officials of the Income Tax Department raided her house. The income tax department officials conducted searches at the residence of Kannada actress in Virajpet Taluka of Kodagu district.

On the occasion of MGR aka Maruthur Gopala Ramachandran's 103 anniversary, the makers of Kangana Ranaut starrer, Thalaivai, had revealed the first look of Arvind Swami, who is playing the mentioned star and politician in the upcoming biographical drama. MGR was a mentor to Jayalalitha and was considered to be one of the most influential fashion icons of the 20th century. The actor-turned-politician formed the political party AIADMK, after quitting the DMK in 1972. He was Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister for 10 consecutive years until his death on December 24, 1987.
