Brahmastra: Alia Bhatt to join Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan for the final leg of sci-fi trilogy

Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated films of the year. After delaying it much, the sci-fi trilogy is said to finally release on 4th December 2020. Hours ago, Amitabh Bachchan had taken to his social handles and shared a BTS picture from the sets of Brahmastra. The actor had even praise Ranbir in his post saying that he had to keep up with the latter's enormous talent. For those not in the know, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan are currently shooting for the final leg of the Ayan Mukerji directorial.

As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, the team of Brahmastra, except Alia Bhatt, is shooting in a studio in Mumbai with a massive set-up and green screen. A source close to the development of the film revealed that the team has recreated bit and parts of Himachal Pradesh in the maximum city that also has a Shiva Temple as one of the main attractions.

"Shiva (Ranbir) and his guru (Sr Bachchan) are shooting for some pivotal scenes that are rooted in Indian mythology. Most of the scenes in the film will be enhanced with visual effects," the source further added. The whole team of Brahmastra reports on the sets at the crack of the dawn and begins shooting at 6:00 am. Alia Bhatt, who plays Isha, Ranbir's Shiva's love interest in the film is expected to join the duo soon. On the impending shoot, the source further added, "On Tuesday, the team completed 170 days of the shoot. The film should wrap up in another 20 days."

Amitabh Bachchan had shared a collage of pictures yesterday, with a caption that read: On the sets with the one I admire and adore one of the finest I need the four chairs to match up to his incredible talent.
