Minions — The Rise of Gru trailer: Gru and his adorable rascals are back with yet another hilariously 'despicable' adventure
Minions: The Rise of Gru's trailer is out and looks like we are in for yet another epic adventure with Gru and his minions. The sequel is a sort of precap which narrates the early days of Gru's life and how he rose to power and went on to become the most respected villain. The trailer of Minions 2 begins with Gru making his way to the interview with the Vicious 6 fire, a group of supervillains who are looking out for new recruits. When a young Gru lands for an interview they make fun of him and ask him to do something evil at first and then come and meet them. To prove his evilness, Gru steals the Apex of evil from them. On his way, he asks his minion to take it to his hideout. However, his minion misplaces it. What follows is a chase sequence between the supervillains and Gru. Have a look at the trailer here:
BL VERDICT: Minion: The Rise of Gru is interesting as the rest of the Minions. The Rise of Gru is something which we all would have wanted to know and from the trailer, we are loving the fact that they have begun it on a high note as well. Let's just hope it ends on a high note as well.
Coming to the cast, it stars Pierre Coffin as the Minions, Steve Carell as Felonious Gru, Taraji P Henson as Belle Bottom, Michelle Yeoh as Master Chow, Jean-Claude Van Damme as Jean Clawed, Lucy Lawless as Nunchuck, Dolph Lundgren as Svengeance, Danny Trejo as Stronghold, Russell Brand as Dr. Nefario and Alan Arkin as Wild Knuckles.
