The last week in the south industry was quite happening as we saw the biggies of Tollywood and Kollywood signing some big projects and revealing the first looks of their ventures. Baahubali star Prabhas, announced his next project that will be directed by Mahanati director, Nag Ashwin. The film is expected to be an ambitious project and will be shot on a lavish scale. Shooting will begin later this year and a large part will be shot all over Europe. The film is produced by Vyjayanthi Entertainments, a banner that completes 50 years in business.

The highly-anticipated episode of Bear Grylls' Into The Wild with Thalaivar Rajinikanth will go on air on March 23 at 8 pm. The official handle of Discovery Channel shared the promo of the episode and revealed the date as they tweeted, "Gear up to venture into the wilderness of India with survival expert @BearGrylls and the ultimate superstar @Rajinikanth in an action packed adventure. Premieres 23 March at 8 PM, only on Discovery! ThalaivaOnDiscovery (sic)"

The first look of Chiyaan Vikram's much-awaited flick, Cobra, was recently revealed on social media. In the poster, we see the lead actor donning different looks and appearances. The film marks the first collaboration between Chiyaan Vikram and director Ajay Gnanamuthu, who is known for giving blockbusters like Demonte Colony and Imaikkaa Nodigal.

Shruti Haasan opens up on her plastic surgery

Popular actress Shruti Haasan recently opened up on her plastic surgery as she wrote a long post on her Instagram account and mentioned, "It isn't easy. The pain isn't easy the physical changes aren't easy but what's become easier to me is to share my journey. No one famous or not is in a position to judge another person. Ever. That's just not cool. I'm happy to say this is my life my face and yes I've had plastic surgery which I'm not ashamed to admit. Do I promote it ? No am I against it ? No - it's just how I choose to live." She went on to urge people to accept changes and spread love.

Stefy comes on board for Thala Ajith's Valimai

Actress Stefy has come on board to play a pivotal character in Thala Ajith's Valimai. The actress expressed her happiness in an interview and said that she is a big and ardent fan of Thala Ajith. Well, with Stefy coming on board, we expect Valimai to have a glamorous touch with some acting chops. The film is set to hit the screens on the festive weekend of Diwali.
