Bigg Boss 13's Asim Riaz approached to play Salman Khan's brother in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali?

This is exciting news for Asim Riaz fans. The Bigg Boss 13 contestant has been apparently approached for Salman Khan's next venture, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The film is said to be the Hindi remake of Thala Ajith's Veeram. Pooja Hegde has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite Salman. According to a Pinkvilla report, the film is apparently a story about four brothers and there is a major emotional Hindu- Muslim angle to it. Now, a fresh report by the same entertainment portal, states that Asim has been apparently approached to play one of Salman Khan's three brothers in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

"Salman Khan starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will have three other actors play Salman's brother. Asim has been offered the role to play one of the brothers," a source close to the development, informed the portal. This piece of news doesn't come as a surprise as Asim gained massive popularity due to his stint in Bigg Boss 13. Coming from a non-acting background, getting Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali as a Bollywood debut is a huge deal for Asim Riaz.

Meanwhile, Sajid Nadiadwala has changed his mind and decided to remake Veeram into Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. "Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is actually a remake of Ajith starrer Veeram. The makers had bought the rights to the Tamil film and were planning to make it. They have tweaked the story a bit to suit the title and the pan-India audience. When Salman heard the story, he immediately agreed to be part of this film," a source informed the entertainment portal.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar's Bachchan Pandey was supposed to be the remake of Veeram but now Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is. As far as Bachchan Pandey, it is reportedly going to be the remake of a popular South film, Jigarthanda.
