Coronavirus pandemic: Aamir Khan calls off the next schedule of Laal Singh Chaddha?

A deadly disease called, Coronavirus, has scared the daylights out of everyone. Owing to the outbreak of this disease, many films have been postponed, including Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's Sooryavanshi, which was about to release on March 24. Many actors and makers have called off the shooting of their film due to the very same reason. If a Mumbai Mirror report is to be believed, Aamir Khan has apparently called off the shooting of the next schedule of Laal Singh Chaddha, which is the official Hindi remake of Hollywood film, Forrest Grump. After Shahid Kapoor's Jersey, this is the second film, whose schedule has been called off.

After wrapping up the Chandigarh schedule on Sunday, Aamir decided to put the next schedule on hold, keeping the safety of his team in mind. "Since a major chunk of the film is being shot at real locations, the next schedule will be decided on a later date, after analyzing the situation on-ground," a source close to the development, informed the leading daily. The actor has decided to put the schedule on hold for the next 12 days. "Aamir was discussing cancelling the shoot much before that," the source revealed.

Meanwhile, the next schedule of Jersey has been put on hold as well. Aman Gill, who is the producer of the Hindi remake, told Mumbai Mirror, "We were looking to wrap up by April-end but in the wake of the unfolding crisis across the globe, we have decided to suspend the shoot for a few weeks. If the situation normalizes soon, we will resume work by early next month."

Coming back to Laal Singh Chaddha, the film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan in the leading role. For the first time, the actress auditioned for a film and immediately got selected for it.
