Coronavirus pandemic: Aaron Tveit of Les Miserables fame tests positive

The Coronavirus Pandemic has spread rapidly in the US. The latest celeb casualty is Les Miserables and Out Of The Blue actor Aaron Tveit. On Monday, he took to Instagram to announce that he had tested positive. In a long note, Tveit, 36 explained about his detection and said he was doing well so far. He wrote, "Hey everyone. I just wanted to update you all that I've found out that I've tested positive for Covid-19. I've been in quarantine since Broadway shows shut down on Thursday, March 12th, and I'm feeling much better," he said. Tveit, 36 said that he considered himself lucky as his symptoms were mild. The virus that is causing similar symptoms like SARS has been very distressing for some people. In fact, young people are also dying because of respiratory failure. He said that he noticed that he was losing sense of taste and smell. This is one symptom noticed by Mumbai doctors as well.

The actor told people to understand the importance of self-quarantine. In the US, places like Chicago, Illinois, Los Angeles, California, Seattle are already under lockdown. The military has also stepped in. Aaron further wrote, "I want everyone to realise that this can affect anyone. And even if you are not feeling sick or showing drastic symptoms - please take heed, stay safe, stay healthy and I hope to see everyone at the theater again soon." The Coronavirus Pandemic started in China's Wuhan city and slowly migrated to other parts of the world. As of now, Italy is the epicentre of the crisis. More than 6,000 people have died in the country. In Asia, it is Iran that is suffering the most. In South America, Brazil is the most affected nation followed by Ecuador. In Hollywood, stars like Tom Hanks, Idris Elba, Olga Kurylenko and others have tested positive.
