Coronavirus pandemic: 'I am fine,' says Kanika Kapoor, hopes to test negative next time

Kanika Kapoor has been tested positive for the fourth time. The Super Girl From China singer has been admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) where she is being tested and treated for the coronavirus. And now, the singer has shared that she is doing fine and is not in the ICU. Kanika Kapoor has been in isolation and opened up that she cannot wait to meet her kids and her family after recovering.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Kanika Kapoor shared a picture of a wall clock and a quote. She posted a heartfelt note. "Going off to bed. Sending you all loving vibes. Stay safe you guys Thank you for your concern but I am not in the ICU. I am fine. I hope my next test is negative. Waiting to go home to my kids and family ? miss them!" she wrote in her post. For the past few days, Kanika has been bashed for her negligent behaviour and not complying with the protocols to undergo tests for COVID-19. She has been charged with negligence and attending parties. She has been booked under Sections 188, 269, and 270 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Sarojini Nagar police station in the city. The chief medical officer (CMO) of Lucknow lodged an FIR against the singer.

Meanwhile, the singer's parents are very worried about her response to the treatments. "We are now worried over the test reports. It seems that Kanika is not responding to treatment and in this lockdown, we cannot even airlift her for advanced treatment. We can only pray for her recovery," her family member who wished to stay anonymous said in a statement.
