Ponmagal Vandhal SECOND LOOK: Jyothika looks fierce in the new poster of the thriller

Jyothika's next is a thriller named Ponmagal Vandhal. She was last seen in 2019's Thambi as Karthi's sister, Parvathy. Now the actress is gearing up for a role that is really special for her and hs actor-husband, Suriya. In the movie, Ponmagal Vandhal, Jyothika would be seen as a fierce lawyer who wants revenge from the wrongdoers of the society. The makers of Ponmagal Vandhal released a second look from the film on the occasion of International Women's Day 2020.

What a way to celebrate Women's Day. Coming back to the poster/second look, in the picture, we see Jyothika in a lawyer's uniform as she is standing side-facing. Talking about Ponmagal Vandhal, apart from Jyothika the film also stars Thiyagarajan, K Bhagyaraj, R Parthieban, Pandiyarajan, and Prathap Pothen in key roles. Musician Govind Vasantha will compose for the film while Ramji will handle the camera work. Poornima, on the other hand, has been handling costumes for Ponmagal Vandhal. The thriller film is said to release on 27th March 2020.

Meanwhile, during the interview of Thambi, Jyothika was asked as to who is most difficult to work with Karthi or Suriya? Pat comes the reply, "With Suriya. It is definitely difficult to act alongside Suriya. We would fight a lot, just like any husband and wife would fight at home."
