Vin Diesel's Fast and Furious 9 gets postpone due to coronavirus concerns; will now CLASH with this Bollywood biggie at the box office
After No Time To Die, another Hollywood biggie has postponed its release date due to coronavirus concerns and it's Vin Diesel and John Cena starrer Fast And Furious 9. The action-entertainer, which was supposed to hit the screens on May 22 has been pushed by almost 11 months and will now release on April 2, 2021. It will lock horns with Akshay Kumar's Bell Bottom at the box office.

The film also features Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, and Jordana Brewster in pivotal roles. Charlize Theron reprises her Cipher role. It will also star Helen Mirren, who starred in Hobbs And Shaw. John Cena and Michael Rooker will be the new joiners in the cast. WWE star John Cena earlier expressed his happiness of joining the cast and tweeted, "For nearly 20 years, the Fast Franchise has entertained fans and created some of the biggest cinematic moments in history. It's an incredible honor to join this franchise and this family."
The film is directed by Justin Lin, who previously helmed The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6.
