Birthday girl Arti Singh will do THIS if she does not manage to get a birthday cake in this lockdown period [Exclusive]

Bigg Boss 13 contestant Arti Singh is celebrating her birthday today. With the whole of India being in a lockdown, the celebrations will be very low-key. In fact, the whole of India seems to be playing Bigg Boss with all the restrictions on stepping out of home. BollywoodLife caught up with the birthday girl for a free-wheeling conversation. "This lockdown is truly like extended Bigg Boss for me. But for the sake of humanity and everyone around us, we have to enjoy this phase and stay where we are. I will request everyone to be home and stay happy." The best part is that Arti Singh prefers to look at the brighter side of things.

"Inside the Bigg Boss house, I had to cook daily for 12-14 people. It was quite a task. I am glad I have no such stress. Moreover, that was a huge house, so cleaning it up was one helluva task," she says. So, what are the birthday plans? "I have this close set of people. My friend, Nimisha she will be there. I don't know if we will cut a cake. That can happen only if we get one," states Arti.

She has a replacement in mind if a cake does not get delivered at home. "I will make a cake out of besan ka halwa if I do not get a cake at home. I truly wanted to celebrate in a big way inviting my friends, media and all. That obviously cannot happen. Once this ends, I will throw a huge bash," says Arti. The Waaris actress says she is a good cook and can make every dish except rotis and coffee. "I have not mastered these two items. I have not been able to pick up any new hobbies as my whole day goes in cleaning up the house and doing the dishes. Plus, there are clothes to be washed. I have a washing machine but I don't know how to operate it. Right now, I am too scared to experiment on it," she says.

Arti Singh is all praise for PM Modi's steps. Arti Singh further says, "I feel social distancing is the only way. I am so thankful to PM Narendra Modi for taking these measures. We need strict policies because people are not willing to listen. I do not know what would have happened if this lockdown did not happen. I am very happy. Our police force and healthcare sector is toiling day and night to save life. I feel this phase will end soon. Nothing lasts forever." We also hope for the same and hope Arti has a wonderful year ahead!
