The world is going through a major crisis because of the coronavirus pandemic. We have never seen anything like this before, and hopefully, we will never see anything like this in our entire life. Over 15 lakh people have been infected worldwide so far and over 90 thousand people have lost their lives. The virus is not discriminating, and even Hollywood personalities aren't spared. Many such personalities have unfortunately lost their lives. Here's a look at them.

Jay Benedict

He acted in films like Aliens and The Dark Knight Rises. His official website announced, "It is with profound sorrow that we must announce Jay's death on the 4th of April due to complications arising from a COVID-19 infection." He was also known for playing Russ Jordan in James Cameron's 1986 release Aliens, sequel to Ridley Scott's 1979 sci-fi horror classic, Alien. He was 68.

Andrew Jack

The British actor, who was seen in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), had appeared in over 80 films and was also a successful dialect coach. He was 76. Jack's fellow Star Wars actor Greg Grunberg said he was devastated to learn of his death, describing him as a "wonderful, talented, beloved gentleman".

Adam Schlesinger

The Grammy and Emmy Awards-winning singer-songwriter, died at the age of 52 after being diagnosed with coronavirus. He passed away in New York, which is hotspot of Coronavirus. Actor Tom Hanks, who himself recovered from the virus, paid a tribute to him and wrote on twitter, "There would be no Playtone without Adam Schlesinger, without his That Thing You Do! He was a One-der. Lost him to COVID-19. Terribly sad today."

Lee Fierro

She was best known for playing Mrs Kintner in Steven Spielberg's Jaws. She was 91 and died of complications due to coronavirus. She was 91 and reprised her role as Mrs. Kintner in 'Jaws: The Revenge' in 1987.

Julie Bennett

Veteran voiceover actress Julie Bennett, passed away on March 31 in Los Angeles from COVID19. She famously voiced Cindy Bear on The Yogi Bear Show and was 88.

Mark Blum

He passed away on March 25 due to coronavirus. He was a part of films like Crocodile Dundee, Desperately Seeking Susan, and Lovesick. He was 69.
