Many Bengali beauties uploaded traditional pictures on their social-media handles to wish their fans on the occasion of the new year. Two Bengali beauties in particular, Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Pooja Banerjee, uploaded their pictures in a saree and celebrated their Bengali New Year under quarantine at home.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who is known as Gopi Bahu from Saath Nibhana Saathiya, is looked upon as the classic Indian woman who is traditional at heart and follows her culture and rituals with grandeur. The actress shared a series of pictures on her Instagram handle in which she could be seen in a blue-linen saree and striking various poses on the occasion of Bihu. She looked really pretty in ethnic wear with traditional jewelry and roses in her hair. "Wishing you all a very happy Rangali bihu & Shubho noboborsha," the Bigg boss 13 actress wrote captioned her pictures.

On the other hand, the contemporary bahu, Pooja Banerjee, who is currently seen as Nivedita Basu in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, is a perfection combination of modern and traditional. Her sarees are wardrobe goals, actually, her entire look is. Her slightly OTT make-up and unusually styled sarees are usually show stealers. Wishing everyone on the new year, she captioned her throwback picture: " #ShubhoNoboBorsho #HappyVishu #HappyBengaliNewYear."
