Fighter: When Karan Johar, Ananya Panday, Vijay Deverakonda and team struck a pose at the launch party - view pics

Tollywood superstar, Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy with Puri Jagannadh's Fighter, which is his first Pan-India film. The action-entertainer, which also stars Ananya Panday in a lead role is expected to high on scale and stunts. The Hindi version of the film will be presented by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. While in the last month, we saw the pictures of Vijay and Ananya taking a boat in Mumbai, while shooting a sequence for the film, few unseen pictures of the Fighter launch party has surfaced online, where we see the cast and makers posing for the shutterbugs. In the picture, we see two leads along with KJo, director Puri Jagannadh, Chunky Panday and others.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Vijay Deverakonda underwent a hard-core training and followed a strict diet to prepare for his character. The actor also visited Thailand to learn mixed martial arts and various other fight forms. In the film, Deverakonda will be seen flaunting six-pack abs. Apart from Vijay, Fighter will also feature Ronit Roy and Baahubali star Ramya Krishnan in key roles. Talking about the film, Ronit informed leading daily, "It is a pan-India action film that will feature a lot of mixed martial arts and will be shot extensively in the next six months.

Fighter was announced just after the release of World Famous Lover. Jagannadh welcomed Ananya to the Telugu flm industry as he wrote on Twitter, "Jagannadh took to Twitter to welcome Ananya and wrote, "Happy to Welcome on board Gorgeous @ananyapandayy for our Pan India venture with my hero @TheDeverakonda produced by @karanjohar @Charmmeofficial @apoorvamehta18 Having fun directing this cool venture (sic)"
