Saqib Saleem turns a year older today. The 83 actor has impressed us all with his commendable performances in Mujhse Fraaanship Karoge, Bombay Talkies, Hawaa Hawaai, and others. He began his career as a model and soon was seen in many advertisements. He started auditioning for film roles and made his debut with a leading role in the 2011 romantic comedy Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge. The film was a box office success and he was then nominated for the best debut award. He was then seen in Mere Dad Ki Maruti, a romantic comedy and it was a critical and commercial success. He later grabbed a supporting role in Bombay Talkies. The film wasn't a hit but Saqib Saleem received a lot of praise for his role from the critics as well as the audience.

In 2014, he did another lead role in the film Hawaa Hawaai. Saqib recently completed the shoot for the Ranveer Singh starter 83. The biographical retelling of the Indian cricketing team's World Cup win in 1983 was all set to release on 10 April 2020 but due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country, the release has been postponed. Saqib Saleem will essay the role of Mohinder Amarnath, vice-captain of the underdog team that went on to become world champions that year and we are excited to see him in the film.
