Ranveer Singh fell in love with Deepika Padukone while shooting for their film together. Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela rose their fame ten folds. Fans of the movie started shipping them together. After Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Ranveer and Deepika went on to collaborate for two more Sanjay Leela Bhansali films Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Deepika played Mastani to Ranveer's Bajirao in the former while they were romantically paired in Padmaavat.

Meanwhile, Deepika and Ranveer would be seen on-screen together for the first time after their wedding, in Kabir Khan's 83. Interestingly, they play husband-wife in the film as well.
