RRR: SS Rajamouli's Jr. NTR and Ram Charan starrer to feature a crucial cameo by THIS Malayalam superstar

After the humongous success of Baahubali franchise, filmmaker SS Rajamouli is coming up with another magnum opus, RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR in lead roles and Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn featuring in supporting characters. While the motion poster of the film and the introduction promo of Ram Charan, received a humongous response from fans, we are waiting for Jr NTR's introduction video. With big names associated with the film, RRR is already enjoying a great buzz and now we have heard that one more big name is now joining the list.

As per the latest reports, Malayalam superstar, Mohanlal might feature in a crucial cameo appearance in this mega-budget venture on which the producers are investing around Rs 350 crore. The reports also suggest that SS Rajamouli himself has requested the megastar for the role though nothing has been confirmed yet. Well, Mohanlal associates with the film, it will help RRR to get a major boost in the Kerala market.

RRR is set in the early 1900s and will have the actors playing roles inspired by characters of the rebellious personalities Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan will be seen playing Ramaraju while Jr NTR will essay Bheem in the plot. The film went on the floors on November 18, 2018, and one week before that, the makers did a massive, where the mahurat clap of the film was given by Ram Charan's father and legendary star Chiranjeevi. Veteran filmmaker Raghavendra Rao also arrived t0 give blessings to the cast and crew. Produced on an estimated budget of Rs 450 crore, the film is likely to hit cinemas on January 8, 2021. It is produced by DVV Danayya.
