Gauahar Khan reacts on the acid-attack Tik Tok controversy; stresses on stricter laws that would make people fearful [Exclusive]

One of the burning topics on social media right now is the ban on Tik Tok. A large number of Indians want the app to be banned in the country after videos trivializing crimes like acid attack and sexual assault were found on it. BollywoodLife recently had a chat with Gauahar Khan. The beautiful lady has an account on Tik Tok and is known to be very vocal about social and political matters. She told us, "I think, over the years, if you analyze content like comedy or pathos, there is a section that is against it. Many comedians have been arrested as some people have got offended. But you cannot always have a morality flag over such channels or form of expression. If people are putting videos of animal killings on a medium, there is something very wrong about it. You need to put criminal charges on such videos so that people are fearful about putting out such content. Laws need to be out there. There is questionable content on YouTube and Instagram as well. If you read the comments under any post, you can see the dirty mentality of a society. It is not about India, but all over the globe. Criminal persecution is the only thing that can instill a sense of fear."

Gauahar Khan also said that she is keeping herself creatively engaged during lockdown. "You got to find something to stay upbeat. Reach out to your family and friends if you feel low and depressed. I try to stay creatively engaged. I am busy creating some content for my YouTube channel or writing some stuff. Also, the holy month of Ramzan is on," she said. When we asked her which celebrity she would like to be quarantined with, the actress answered after some thought. "I think it would be Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. I feel they always give us couple goals. They are damn cute and real. I would like to be a little bird and observe them from the window," she added.
